Monday-Thursday Schedule

Time Activity
6:45 a.m. Wake Up
Students wake up to the sound of Rectory's iconic Memorial Bell's toll.
Students get their academic technology as they leave dorm.
7:30 a.m. Breakfast
There's always a hot meal option, fruit and yogurt bar, and cereal.
8:00 a.m. Assembly/Advisory
Students meet every Monday morning with their advisory groups. Tuesday-Friday Middle School students meet as a community in the Tang Center for morning assembly.
8:15 a.m. Academics
Middle School students meet with five of seven 60-minute academic classes per day. 
3:00 p.m. MUSH/Detention
Students who didn't finish assignments are assigned to Make Up Study Hall.
Students who fail to meet behavior expectations are assigned detention
3:00 p.m. Sports
All middle school students participate in sports every term.
4:30 p.m. Free Time on Dorm
This is a great time to shower, do dorm chores, visit with dorm mates, or enjoy some quiet time.
6:00 p.m. Dinner
Weekday dinners are typically family-style. Seating is assigned with either an adult or 9th-grade table proctor at each table. 
6:30 p.m. Study Hall
Students are assigned to grade-level study halls. Students who need extra help are assigned to a small group study hall.
8:00 p.m. Free Time on Dorm
Students are given their technology when they return to dorm from study hall. This is a great time to reconnect with family and friends, and to get a little play-time in.
9:15-10:00 p.m. Bedtime
Quality sleep is important for learning and memory. Technology is collected 30 minutes before light's out so students can finish their night-time routines and get to bed on time.

 

Friday Schedule

5-Day Boarders Go Home For The Weekend
6:00 p.m. Dinner
There is always a yummy hot-meal option on the menu, as well as a soup, salad, and deli bar. Friday night dinners are free seating but there are only 8 to a table and we only allow one butt per seat! 
6:30 p.m. Student Activities
Friday night activities are either First Friday events, Dorm Activities, or Real Events Movie Series.
8:00 p.m. Free Time on Dorm/Store Trips/Wolf Den
Some dorm parents use this time to take their entire dorm to the store to stock up on essentials. The Wolf Den student lounge (or Seaward Pavilion on nice days) is often open to visit and play with friends.
9:30-10:00 p.m. All Students Return to Their Dorms
10:00-11:00 p.m. Bedtime
Technology is collected 30 minutes before light's out so students can finish their night-time routines and get to bed on time.

 

Saturday Schedule

Time Activity
9:30 a.m. Wake Up
Most students are up and about before the bell's toll, but this is when we make sure they are getting ready to go to breakfast.
10:00 a.m. Breakfast
There's always a hot meal option, fruit and yogurt bar, and cereal.
10:30 a.m. Dorm Clean Up
Students make their beds, clean their rooms, and do their dorm jobs.
10:30 a.m. 9th-Grade Privilege
9th graders may check out with their dorm parents and walk to a local cafe from now until dinner. They should only be gone for an hour at a time and should be on campus for all meals and activities.
10:45 a.m. Free Time on Dorm/Store Trips
Some dorm parents use this time to take their entire dorm to the store to stock up on essentials. Inter-dorm visits are allowed at this time--but they must check in and out with dorm parents.
12:00 p.m. Free Time on Dorm/Wolf Den/Pavilion
The Wolf Den student lounge (or Seaward Pavilion on nice days) is often open to visit and play with friends.
1:00 p.m. Lunch
A soup, salad, and deli bar allows kids to fill up on healthy food while they enjoy time visiting with their friends during the free seating.
1:30 p.m. Student Activities
Students get to choose from a list of on-campus and off-campus activities.
3:00 p.m. Free Time on Dorm
Students are given their technology when they return to dorm from the afternoon activity. Inter-dorm visits are allowed at this time--but they must check in and out with dorm parents.
4:30 p.m. Free Time on Dorm/Wolf Den/Pavilion
The Wolf Den student lounge (or Seaward Pavilion on nice days) is often open to visit and play with friends.
5:30 p.m. Dinner
