Coach Bradley Recognized for NEPSAC Spirit Award

Congratulations to Coach Erin Bradley on receiving the Spirit Award from the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC). A recognition that reflects her exceptional dedication to student-athletes at the junior boarding school level, from the classroom to the dormitories and to the fields and courts. 

As head coach for Rectory's Varsity Girls' Soccer and Varsity Girls' Lacrosse programs, and assistant coach for Varsity Girls' Basketball, Coach Bradley brings the same incredible spirit and sportsmanship to every team, every practice, and each game. She never fails to bring a positive attitude while coaching her athletes to be the best people they can be, while also holding knowledge of the game to develop skilled players and even more thoughtful leaders.

But her impact extends far beyond the athletic field. As a teacher by day, coach by afternoon, and dorm parent at night, Coach Bradley embodies the whole-child approach that defines Rectory. An excerpt from her NEPSAC recognition captures this perfectly, "at the junior boarding school level, Erin fully embraces the true purpose of middle school athletics, which often presents unique challenges beyond those at the high school level."

Director of Athletics Courtney Callanan witnesses Coach Bradley's impact every single day. "She is the master at planning team bonding activities, which is a crucial part of building a team culture," Courtney shares. As a fellow coach on the soccer pitch, Courtney has also witnessed her infamous Low Ropes Course practices—where she challenges her athletes with the mental side of the game and what it truly means to be a teammate.
