"I like being a 5-day boarder at Rectory because I get to live with my friends and also see my family on the weekends. I like being able to play sports at Rectory and still play hockey and baseball on my competitive club teams at home. My classes at Rectory are smaller; there were 24 kids in my class at my old school so just finding a seat in class was sometimes difficult. Although the academics at Rectory are much more challenging, I get more attention from my teachers and I'm learning time-management skills that I know will help me in secondary school.

"Rectory opened up a whole new world to me. There is so much here that I wouldn't have gotten in my previous school. Rectory has enhanced my education and I've discovered things about myself that I didn't know before--for example, I found out I have a history-bug inside of me and I even participated in the History Bee! I've received academic support that I wouldn't have gotten if I hadn't attended Rectory. I feel like I am prepared for secondary school and Mr. Campbell (Director of Secondary School Placement) is helping me get into my next school. Living on dorm gives me a glimpse of what secondary school and college will be like and I now have the experience of living with people from around the world."

"I get to have the best of both worlds. I get to go to an amazing school and still go home to see my parents on the weekends. Rectory provides opportunities that my local schools didn't offer. Rectory has helped me identify who I am and who I want to be. I have the opportunity to be on the newspaper and I learned that I love to write. Rectory has given me the opportunity to participate in IIP and small group study hall that helps me with my dyslexia. Being a boarder at Rectory, I am always able to find the help I need when I need it, even when it is outside normal school hours."
