Caring for the Whole Child
While we can’t replace a child’s family, our boarding community becomes a true home away from home—one where students feel safe, understood, and valued.
Our on-campus counseling team plays a vital role in that care. Because our counselors live and work alongside students every day, they have a deep understanding of each child’s strengths, needs, and environment. This close connection allows them to provide proactive, compassionate support that helps students thrive both academically and personally.
Rectory’s counselors bring extensive experience in adolescent development, guiding students through the natural challenges of growing up—whether that means navigating friendships, managing academic stress, or building confidence in who they are. Through one-on-one conversations, check-ins, and informal daily interactions, counselors create trusted spaces where students can talk openly and feel heard.
At its heart, Rectory’s counseling program is about helping students develop the tools for resilience, balance, and emotional well-being. With caring adults always nearby, our students grow into confident, healthy young people who understand themselves—and their ability to make a positive impact on the world around them.
