Our Athletic Training Department provides critical support in preventing, diagnosing, and treating sports-related injuries among students.
Their expertise ensures that athletes receive immediate and appropriate care, which minimizes the risk of long-term damage and facilitates faster recovery. Additionally, athletic trainers educate students on safe practices and effective training techniques, promoting overall health and well-being.

Patrick Wyman
Athletic Trainer
Patrick Wyman joined Rectory in partnership with Westview Sports Medicine in the fall of 2022 serving as the head athletic trainer.
He received his undergraduate degree from Colby-Sawyer College where he attained his board certification in athletic training. While attending Colby-Sawyer, Mr. Wyman worked with the women’s soccer program who won a division title and made an NCAA tournament appearance. As an undergrad, he worked with Dartmouth College’s Division I football team on their way to an Ivy League title.
Mr. Wyman has worked with Westview Sports Medicine since 2019 in conjunction with numerous local high schools and prep schools in the area. Mr. Wyman was the former head athletic trainer at Putnam Science Academy, during which time they won two National Prep Championships in basketball.
Mr. Wyman grew up in Maine as an avid sports fan and outdoor enthusiast, playing soccer, hockey and lacrosse all throughout high school where he developed his love of sports. He and his wife, Anna, live on campus with their two Australian Shepards: Mookie and Kona.
