Performing Arts

The musical talent that comes out of our Performing Arts Program amazes and wows our audiences. Whether a musical novice or an accomplished instrumentalist, a Rectory student has the opportunity to advance to new levels as an individual musician and a member of the orchestra. We offer a variety of groups for students to join: band, jazz, or chamber ensemble. Vocalists can find opportunities in our chorus, a cappella group, and spring musical theater. Our all-school musical events are the fall Prism Concert–a unique program of continuous sound performed for Fall Family Weekend– the Rectory Pops Concert in December, and the May Spring Concert.

The Holiday Chapel, held in December, features our choral students and student accompanists and celebrates the school traditions in our beautiful chapel setting. At Rectory, we build community through our performances; the students work hard practicing their parts so they can play in concert with others, and they are mutually supportive.
