2025-2026 - Tuition & Fees

Rectory School’s Comprehensive Tuition Plan offers full transparency on annual education costs. This all-inclusive plan covers core academics, Chromebooks, textbooks, field trips, meals, athletics (excluding equestrian), MELP, weekend activities, laundry for 7-day boarders, yearbooks, and tuition refund insurance. Flexible payment options are available to meet family budget needs, making education at Rectory straightforward and worry-free.

Registration Fees

The non-refundable Registration Fee is required to be paid at the time the enrollment contract is submitted. The monies from this fee will fund the student's bank account unless the student is withdrawn from the school. If the student is withdrawn for any reason the fee is forfeited.

International Student Accident and Health Insurance

Student School Bank Account

Students at Rectory School are required to maintain a student bank account. Charges to a student’s bank account may include, but are not limited to, school store purchases, travel expenses, allowance, medical expenses, athletic fees, testing fees, clubs, and certain weekend activities. The student bank account must maintain sufficient funds to allow charging privileges, including weekly allowance.

International Student Accident and Health Insurance

International Student Accident and Health Insurance is required for all students whose primary residence is outside the United States and who do not have primary health coverage with a U.S.-based insurance company. If you have a non-U.S. address, the cost of this insurance coverage will be added to your billing statement. The policy is for 10 months while the student is in residence at Rectory School.

Financial Aid

In keeping with Rectory School’s mission to attract and maintain a diversified student body, financial aid is available to support families who would otherwise not be able to meet the cost of attending. Rectory provides $2.2 million in financial aid, to 30% of the student body.

Financial aid is granted to families on a need basis to those who qualify, which is determined by Clarity. While Rectory strives to provide support to all families who qualify and are accepted, we do not have the resources to do so. Therefore, the strength of a prospective student's application is used in determining distribution of the aid. Applications & Decisions

Rectory School's online admissions application and the Standard Application Online (SAO) are both acceptable to submit. Complete admissions applications submitted by February 1 along with a complete financial aid application will receive decisions throughout February.

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

Admissions applications completed after February 1 will receive decisions around two weeks after submission. Please contact the Admissions Office at 860.928.1328 with any questions.

Why did we switch to Clarity?

We have chosen Clarity as our financial aid application provider in order to better serve both our current and prospective families. We are confident that this change is going to make the process of applying for financial aid easier for families.

How does Clarity make it easier for me to apply for financial aid?

Clarity offers a streamlined, mobile friendly application that can be completed in as short a time as 20 minutes. Additionally, Clarity removes the need to upload your W2 and 1040 by transferring them directly from the IRS. This reduces the amount of information that you will need to enter manually and makes it possible to complete the application quickly and efficiently.

Is my information secure with Clarity?

Rectory takes the privacy and security of your personal information very seriously. Clarity is certified for both GDPR and SOC2 and uses enterprise-level security standards including end-to-end encryption of all personally identifiable information. How will this impact my award?

Just as in prior years, if your financial circumstances have not changed, you will not see significant changes to your award. If you have any questions about your individual circumstance, please reach out to us.

Once I apply, will i have to apply each year?

Application

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, to upload the required documents. The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is February 1.
