Financial Aid

In keeping with Rectory School’s mission to attract and maintain a diversified student body, financial aid is available to support families who would otherwise not be able to meet the cost of attending. Rectory provides $2.2 million in financial aid, to 30% of the student body. 

Financial aid is granted to families on a need basis to those who qualify, which is determined by Clarity. While Rectory strives to provide support to all families who qualify and are accepted, we do not have the resources to do so. Therefore, the strength of a prospective student's application is used in determining distribution of the aid. Here's a helpful link to find out information on financing or loan programs through Tuition Management Systems: www.afford.com.

Application Deadline: February 1

In order to be considered for financial aid, prospective students must successfully meet the deadlines and criteria for admission. February 1 is the financial aid application deadline. Applications may be submitted after the deadline but the greatest chance of receiving aid is to submit prior to the deadline.

Applying for Financial Aid

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.
 

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, to upload the required documents. The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is February 1.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@claritytuition.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish. 

Application Fee Waivers

For families, Clarity charges $60 to apply. Clarity automatically waives application fees for families whose income falls below a certain threshold. As a demonstration of our commitment to access, our income caps for automatic fee waivers are the highest in the industry. One fee covers all students, and the application can be sent to any school accepting Clarity.
