Are you exploring a future in teaching, coaching, student life, counseling, leadership, or education? Join Rectory School for the Future Educators Conference, a one-day experience designed for college students and emerging professionals who are curious about careers in independent schools.
This conference will introduce attendees to the many pathways available in independent school education—where teachers are known, students are supported, and faculty have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact both in and beyond the classroom.
Why Independent Boarding and Day Schools?
Independent schools offer a dynamic and highly personal approach to education. Faculty members often wear many hats—as classroom teachers, advisors, coaches, mentors, dorm parents, program leaders, and community builders. For those beginning a career in education, this kind of environment provides valuable hands-on experience, close mentorship, and the opportunity to grow as both a teacher and leader.
At Rectory, students are known and guided as individuals. Faculty members work closely with young learners, build lasting relationships, and help students develop confidence, curiosity, character, and purpose.
