Happy 100th Birthday, Rectory!
"It is a time to celebrate relationships, strengthen existing ties, and reengage if you have been out of touch with the School."
In 1920, the Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Bigelow take ten-year old George Chandler Holt II into their home, the rectory of Christ Memorial Church, for the school year. One year later, Rectory School appears in Sargent’s Handbook of American Private Schools, seventh edition (1921-1922), as a “small Home School for a limited number of young boys from six to twelve years of age.”
Join us as together we celebrate 100 years of Rectory School!
