THE RECTORY SCHOOL ANNUAL YEARBOOK:
Ninth grade students are responsible for the yearbook with the assistance from faculty advisers and the publishing company’s representative.

STUDENT COUNCIL:
Each class section selects a Student Council representative and the student body elects officers each year. The Student Council raises funds for disaster relief organizations, and local food banks and shelters, plans student social functions like school dances, sponsors the school talent show, deals with student issues, and provides feedback to administration on policies affecting students.

STUDENT NEWSPAPER: DiRectory
The editorial staff ranges from sixth through ninth grades. The paper covers basic news, writing, layout and photography and stresses the need for accuracy, balance, objective reporting, and interview techniques. Students learn basic and advanced computer desktop publishing techniques.

COMPUTER CLUB
Students get the use of both computer labs to email, play games or do school work in a supervised setting.

VOLUNTEER CLUB
In a year-long program called Volunteer Club, Rectory students go to the homes of local people who have lost loved ones through cancer to perform such tasks as raking leaves, cleaning yards, putting up storm windows and cleaning out basements.
