The Rectory School

An Independent, Coed, Junior Boarding (5-9) and Day School (Early Childhood-9)

Annual Fund

The purpose of Rectory’s Annual Fund is to support the school’s mission by offering its alumni, families, friends, and supporters a meaningful, impactful way to benefit every student, every day, to bolster the cause of all students in finding their lives’ passions and fulfilling their utmost personal potential.

WHAT IS THE ANNUAL FUND?

The Rectory School Annual Fund is the cornerstone of all fundraising programs. It is critical in maintaining the strong academic programs for which Rectory is known. Annual Fund gifts are unrestricted funds used to support the current operational needs of the school and are allocated within the year they are received.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

The Annual Fund is vitally important to the day-to-day operation of the School; without it, Rectory could not meet its financial obligations. The Annual Fund bridges the “gap” between tuition income and the true cost of operating the School. Your support helps keep tuition as affordable as possible and ensures that our programs continue to enrich the lives of our students.

WHAT DOES IT SUPPORT?

The Annual Fund directly supports curriculum development, academic programs, financial aid, athletic teams and our incredible faculty — this means talented teachers, small classes, advanced technology, enriched academic programs, and an array of offerings in the arts and athletics.

WHY SHOULD I PARTICIPATE?

Participation is critical because it serves as a strong indicator of loyalty and satisfaction to the School. Whether you are a parent, alum, grandparent, or have another relationship with Rectory, donating to the Annual Fund is a tangible way to demonstrate your appreciation for Rectory’s past and commitment to its future. This form of generosity lasts forever.
